About:

Personality:
Sydney, as much as she really doesn’t believe that she is, is a very kind person. She’s always afraid her scars will scare someone away if they get too close to her, so she’s really only close to Daschmon and her brother, though she does have some friends with some classmates and other Digimon and Human partner pairs. She does hate any pity people try to give her for her accident and her scars. Sydney is, though, still extremely smart and quickly tries to help anyone to the best of her knowledge.

History:
Sydney was born second child/first daughter to a pair of British engineers. After she was born, she and her older brother (Andrew) were raised in England for about a year and then her parents moved them all to Boston for better work and a bigger home, because her mother was expecting twins. (Several years later there was the fifth and last child, the baby brother)

Sydney grew up a very happy girl. Her family was well off but they weren’t spoiled at all. She and Andrew were the same grade and were the kids whose birthday party you went to because of some reason or another. Sydney had the top grades of the class and, even though she was, you wouldn’t call her the teacher’s pet.

That all changed in middle school. At age 13, there was an accident at her father’s place of work. She was watching one of the chemists do some experiment and there was an unexpected volatile reaction with the acids when he wasn’t enough paying attention. Being the smart concerned one she is, she noticed it first and pushed the chemist away as the glass beaker shattered, spraying the acid everywhere, especially on Sydney.

She spent the next several months in the hospital, being treated for several severe acid burns on the right side of her body and her face. The doctors kept saying she was lucky for not being completely blinded. No, she was just blinded in her right eye. She was in severe pain for this time. Sydney was permanently and horribly scarred on most of the right arm, right shoulder, right side of her neck and face.

The pain when she returned to school was worse though. Even though she had Andrew on her side, the other teenagers weren’t so nice. The mean girls pounced on her “Phantom of the Opera” style eye patch/bandages and her old friends started avoiding her like the plague. Sydney quickly retreated in on herself and became extremely introverted, only really interacting with her brother and teachers, though she still excelled in classes.

It was during this period of extreme introverted-ness did she meet Daschmon (though only Pinsmon at that point). She had been wondering through the Boston Commons and Garden when she came across a (very strange looking) stray puppy underneath a park bench. She feed it her food and left for home, promising to bring more when she came next. This was repeated several times, sometimes she was accompanied by Andrew. It was actually Andrew who figured out that it was a Digimon, who then finally spoke and introduced himself as Pinsmon and they finally snuck him into their house.

It wasn’t till several weeks later did Pinsmon reveal the shard that he’d been hiding since Sydney first gave him her food, not really wanting to believe he was the partner of a human of Kindness. Sydney actually laughed when Pinsmon gave the shard to her. She didn’t believe it herself and needed to be tricked into touching it to her watch. Surprise surprise, it turned into her digivice.

Sydney and Andrew went through high school, Sydney graduated as Valedictorian and Andrew was still in the top 10%. They both got into Tokyo Institute of Technology (Sydney for Engineering and Andrew for Biotechnology) and they share an apartment, though on her breaks, Sydney usually stays on the Astral campus with Daschmon to give Andrew space.

Talents:
Sydney has a talent for languages, having learnt Japanese fluently in about 2.5 years, of which only 6 months was in Japan itself. With her native language being English, she is fluent in Japanese, Italian and German. She has limited but working knowledge of Chinese, Korean and Greek. Most other languages, if she has to, she can get to the elementary level with a few months time either studying or immersion.

She also has some basic skills in sewing, crafting and leatherwork, having made her own half masks to form to her face to cover the scars. So if someone needs some cloths fixed, something sewed back together or even a piece of clothing made, she can do it for them. (Saves money too!)

Any jobs they might have:
Sydney is a student at Tokyo Institute of Technology, she really doesn’t have much time for a job aside from some lab work.

Relationships:

Daschmon:
Sydney thinks he could cool his jets and enjoy life a little bit more. She’s told him repeatedly that she’s not a piece of glass and won’t shatter if she gets touched a little. Daschmon disagrees though.

Andrew (Older brother):
As the one to stuck with her through everything, Sydney thinks the world of Andrew. He is a bit of a prankster to her, but since he knows how her brain works, she really can’t hide anything from him. She knows his biggest weakest is her and that he has a major sister complex, so she’s been trying to let him be on his own so he can get a girlfriend sooner than later.

Rest of Family:
The twin sisters love her, though they think she should go find a boyfriend and Sydney thinks they need to mind their own business. The baby brother is now about 15, so she misses him and is sad to miss the opportunity to mess with his first date, but he supports her studying abroad. She loves her parents dearly.

Grau Larm: Attack sealing the enemy’s ability and freezes enemy’s data temporally
Schwartz Strahl: Fired a dark energy blast from mouth while roaring

Ultimate: Cerberumon
Portals of Darkness: Opens a “Hell Gate” engraved in the earth, then casts opponent through it to Dark Area (uses large amount of energy)
Emerald Blaze: Spews a red-hot jet of flame (colored emerald green)
Styx Killer: Claws erupt in blazing hot flames and rip enemies to their cores

Mega: Anubismon
Pyramid Power: Draws square pyramind with beams of light, then imprisons opponents in it
Amemit: Summons demonic beast from underworld which devours Cores of evil Digimon

Personality:
Daschmon is slightly arrogant and was in disbelief when he figured out that his partner was one for Kindness (never figuring himself for a kind Digimon). He does have his soft sides though, like when a baby Digimon is playing and falls or something similar, he thinks that it’s cute and helps them up. And he’d go any lengths to protect a Digi-egg and Nursery/Primary Village/Village of Beginnings (whatever it’s called) from evil Digimon attacks.

He also thinks Sydney is made of glass, usually. When he was told about how she got her scars, he wanted to rip the chemist limb from limb, until Sydney calmed him down (though he still does threaten the guy). When Daschmon is defending someone though, or just gets into an argument with someone, he’s a bit of a hot head. In a fight, he has little to no mercy (unless Sydney tells him its training) and arguments usually end up with Sydney picking him up/dragging him by the collar.

So if you need the brief version, think the stereo typical cool stoic teenage boy who thinks cute things are cute and need protecting and protects his family with very sharp “teeth”.

This is a work in progress. Dobermon, Cerberumon and Anubismon all need to be drawn. I just wanted to get up what I had done. I do plan in the future to do this all digitally, though with my 16 credit hours right now (plus other things) I don't have time to play with Adobe.
